Fair point, I was rationing the bold too hard. Here it is with the bigger festivals lit up and the recent tour marked.
Hola! I am Saray. I'm a bass, keys and guitar player (and MD sometimes!) working across pop, rock, funk, etc. I've spent more than 15 years on stage and in the studio, moving comfortably between playing, directing and programming live shows.
I trained at Berklee College of Music, where I studied Music Performance on bass, and I've since added an Ableton certificate from BIMM and vocal training at the London Voice Academy.
As a session and touring bassist, I've played for original artists in intimate clubs and on festival stages with audiences of up to 5000. I've toured the UK with Oh Brother! and Alexander Valentine, and most recently with Mango in Euphoria on the Cynical Girl tour.
At the festivals, I've played Glastonbury with Maya Lakhani, Oh Brother! and Attawalpa. I've also played BST Hyde Park with Attawalpa, All Points East and the Spotify Stage at The Great Escape with Oh Brother!, Secret Garden Festival with Ettiene, Glasgow Mela with Maya Lakhani, and a support slot for Tokio Myers at O2 Kentish Town with Latir.
Across my career, I've collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Oh Brother!, Maya Lakhani, Latir, Attawalpa, Alessia, Alexander Valentine, Aga Tomkowska and El Roig, among many others. My studio work includes recording sessions at Abbey Road, Metropolis Studios, Strongroom and Hackney Studios.
Alongside my playing, I work as a Musical Director and Ableton show builder, leading bands and building shows from session to stage for artists such as GIUSEPPE, Mango and Sally-Anne Hickman. That covers the charts, click, backing tracks and playback, run in Ableton Live and AbleSet.
